It. 651P Side Belt Holster with Security Lock Review

It is a newcomer in our Slovak market our company started to produce on the basis of permanently increasing need for holsters of auto-loading pistol K100. It is a smaller holster with an integrated plastic lock from MLC Company. The holster is made purely for a particular gun and not recommended for other pistols. Its construction prevents accidental dropping of a gun out of the holster when shooters is on move and in case of immediate use it should be drawn without any obstacles. Inside the holster there is a plastic ledge with gun sight copying holster relief of gun tail end. The back part is formed by mechanism which includes a plastic lock securing a gun. Repeated release of a gun is done by pressing a thumb of a shooting hand against the lock which is situated in an inner side of the holster.

A pistol is firmly fixed in the holster and you can rely you will never be left without a gun even moving harshly. Even when down your head. The right and safe gun fixation in the holster is signalized by lock click in a hook. Precise construction of the holster makes gun draws easy and quick when holding it firmly. Hardened shooters needed just a short time to get used to a lock and when testing the holster they achieved great measured time in draw and shoot in a set zone /target/ at a short distance /3 and 5 m/ in the interval 0,7 – 0,8 second.

In simulated fight we once faced the situation when a lock handle was pressed against the shooter´s body and an outer side of the holster which resulted in the release of a gun from the holster mechanism. However, precise production of the holster for a particular gun has its reason and the firm gun fixation prevented complete drop of a gun. Low weight, reasonable size, high endurance and stableness on a belt are a proof of high holster compactness. The holster – type 651/p has received the best reference right from the shooters participating in the test of the Falco company holsters.
