Pancake Style OWB Leather Holster with Thumb Break

Very well built high quality sturdy leather holster. This was a custom model for a Ruger Blackhawk with a red dot sight. I’m using it with a Vortex Venom sight and the only design change I would make is to have the cut-out for the sight about 3/8” less deep and rounded at the cutout corners rather than squared. It works perfectly but the cutout is just a bit big. It may fit better for larger red-dot sights and maybe in the custom design form you fill out when you order you could specify the sight brand so the fit could be a bit more exact. I want to emphasize this is a beautiful holster and this is a minor criticism!

this is one of two holsters that i bought and i have to say that both are perfect! this leather belt holster works perfect for what i wanted. after i broke it in (about 2 days) my glock fits like a glove. i have to say that i am particular about what i buy and i viewed a lot of holsters at other sites and i feel this was, for sure the best buy.

I bought this based upon much searching, but only seeing pictures. I was completely surprised with how perfectly it fits my gun. I did order it gun specific, but it is absolutely awesome. The leather was very stiff at first, but is loosening up nicely after a week or so. This holds my gun very very securely. I am extemely pleased with this holster. I highly recommend it to anyone looking and wondering about the quality.

The wait was worth it. The money, without question. This is the most comfortable way I have ever found to carry a full size auto and not compromise anything. The gun is in and out of the holster with ease and absolutely secure at rest. Quality is top notch and communication from the company has been wonderful.

The holster fits perfectly! I am very happy about it, the quality is definitely better than most other holster brands I’ve tried that have leather products. The delivery also did not take too long considering its from Slovakia I think. To be custom built and delivered straight to the house is a luxury that I feel is beginning to be overlooked. If you have the money and your piece costs more than the holster itself go for it. It definitely will last a long while.

Excellent product. The quality of the materials, construction and fitment are well done. At a time when I already have more holsters than I use—so many have been a disappointment once recieved—the Falco holster has moved to the top of the favorite’s list. I’m not a fan of Kydex, too many of mine have broken during duty use, but leather I like. The Falco leather holster I received encourages me to buy more Falco leather holsters with the expectations they will be as good as this one.

The tension screw is rough on the backside and the metal fastener will rub and wear th he belt holding the holster. Otherwise the holster has very good fit. The tension mechanism should be redesigned or not offered for this firesrm.

Holster ok. Didn't get what I ordered, but too much hassle to return. I ordered a snap on with belt retainer straps. Instead I got a slide on the belt style. Defeated my purpose of ordering the more convenient snapp on loop type. Oh well teaches me from ordering off the internet

Great communication throughout process and accurate estimate of delivery timing. Good quality holster that fits CZ PRC as desired. Comfortable and looks like it will wear well with little break-in required.

Ordered this holster for a s&w model 29 for hiking in the deep brush. The pistol fit is excellent. The snap on the thumb break was really tough to get engaged at first. So I left the pistol in the holster with the snap engaged for a day or so and now it snaps with ease. This is my second falco holster and I’ve been extremely impressed with both of them. The quality of the craftsmanship for the price is unbeatable considering this a custom holster made with premium material.

The holster came timely, and is very nicely made. Very thick heavy leather takes some breaking in but fits my S&W586 l comp like glove after a couple of days with the gun in a plastic bag in the holster. I wish the thumb break had been made just a little longer, but with time it will stretch to make snapping easier. I love the workmanship, could have been a little more pressed into the shape of the gun, but again it fits beautifully and holds the gun tight against my body with no flop away from the body because of the weight of the gun. I will order from Falco again and am very pleased to have discovered them. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is an incredibly well made holster for my P1. Plenty of holster providers for P38s, but few for the P1. The P1 has wider slide dimension than a P38 and very difficult to fit in P38 holsters. Falco got this spot on!

My sixth holster from you guys. Perfect fit after one overnight break in as usual. Excellent craftsmanship and I don’t even look to other brands because I know you guys can fit whatever gun I have. You’ve done my Commander, Sigs, Browning, H&K’s, and Rutgers with a perfect job every time. Great mag pouches as well!!

Beautiful leather work. Right out of the box my Hellcat RDP fit perfectly. The matching mag pouch is perfect also. I received my order in very short order, was very surprised when it arrived so quickly. Past orders have taken some time be the product Falco delivers was worth the wait. But now their building and shipping is as quick as other manufactures. I’m sure that switching to FedEx has helped tremendously.

This a Great Holster! The gun fit perfectly and securely. It is a heavy gun but the design distributes the weight comfortably. No real Breaking in was necessary . As in the case of the other holsters I purchased from Falco the product is excellent.

Great quality out of the packaging. Working 33 years in a profession that uses all range of leather, this leather is supple, smooth grained & the pattern for the gun appears conforming. Well worth the money and waiting. Big thanks.

I wish there was about 1/8” shaved down in the leather where my fingers wrap around the front of the grip. It’s a bit too tight there and I really have to wedge my hand in hard to get a full grip on the pistol.

Bought the C106 Shikra with thumb break for working at a gun shop. Initial break in was normal as usual. Love this holster for my Walther CCP and plan on getting same for my Walther PPQ.

Five stars, the holster is great!

Great quality. Tight fit at first but then becomes snug and really perfect. I really can’t tell the holster is there when I wear it on my right side 4:00 position. Even when driving.

This is a great holster. Took a little while to get, but worth the wait! It holds well on the belt, and fits my pistol perfectly! If you're on the fence, go ahead and get one! You will not regret it!

Purchased this holster based on the reviews and they were very accurate. Holster was a little stiff, but leaving the gun in it over night it loosen up nicely. It does a great job of holding it close to your body so as not to print through a shirt. It's as advertised, well made, fits the piece perfect and I would order this holster again.

Excellent holster, very comfortable and I like the retention thumb strap. Fits my P365XL Romeo Zero perfectly. Sometimes I wear IWB, but sometimes I prefer a concealed OWB such as this pancake holster (especially with older pants less forgiving in the waist).

When I bought my Sig 226 I looked everywhere around town to find a holster that fit. Stumbled on to Falco Holsters web site and found exactly what I was looking for. My holster was received in the time it was promised. It is a nice example of craftsmanship. Seams are well done. It took about a week for me to get the 1911 A1 to fit properly. I wrapped the pistol with a plastic bag and inserted it once a day for a week. I also used the Falco Break-in set to help. All the step one fluid is now gone. I would have liked to have more for the price of the Break-in set.
Bottom line, I am very pleased with the holster fit and finish.

Decent quality holster, however make sure you get everything in your order right. I got the wrong size belt and it was very hard to get a return. They only do store credit once received and you have to ship it on your own finances.

Nice looking holster but fit is not good at all. I have had my hellcat pro in the holster since I received my order a few days ago. I first loosened the retention screw and still had to force the gun all the way into the holster then struggled with both hands to snap the thumb snap together. I did attempt to carry this holster once. I went to draw and I have to use a lot of force to draw the firearm. I have been carrying for 20 years, I’m 6 foot tall and 230lbs. And the draw in this holster is what I would call dangerous. I absolutely would not bet my life on this holster. For the amount of money I paid I would expect perfection. I have owned several leather pancake holsters over the years, I have another brand one currently for my hellcat. I gave them two stars because it is a nice looking holster but fit and finish make this holster useless. I would be happy to send a video of the operation of this holster to the folks at falco if that would help them in any way.

Fit gun well. Lether was pretty light weight, not sure how well it will hold up to use.

I did not like that you removed the metal clasp on the buckle. My previous holster in black had a metal clip on the snap. That was what I wanted. Very disappointed that you cheapened the product within about 5 months.

Design and fit of holster received is extremely poor. Thumb break strap is too short to clasp in the decocked position and can only be forced to snap if hammer is cocked back completely. The holster ordered was for a CZ 75BD (decocker model). There would never be a safe senario to carry the gun in a cocked position without a safety engaged. Also, the "Classic" version was ordered and the overall leather quality is poor, stiff, and dry.
