I like getting individual components and building my own pieces. While the lead time was long (understandable for something custom even if it is something simple) and the shipping outrageous (I was unaware that it would be an international order) but the product is immaculate. The style and fit is perfect. I'm an extremely large man nearly 7 feet tall and have the chest and shoulders of an entire defensive line and the straps adjusted to fit even me just fine. We shrunk it back down as an experiment and it managed also fit my buddy who's more the ichbod crane build. to And once broken in is more like a comfy jacket than a strapy holster system. I got just the strap system for shoulder holsters and it was better than anything else comparable on the market. It even was universal enough to work with my haphazard collection of cheap holsters counterbalances and tie downs. And hooks right up to some custom pieces I made myself. The riviets in the main harness body have bushings of some sort and make little to no noise or friction and if worn correctly lays as flat as an undershirt. The cut is perfect and the dye job on the edges doesn't look cheap or rushed. Faster more affordable shipping is the only thing needed to get this into a solid five stars. Under a light jacket it's in invisible and without a cover garment the chicks dig it. I'll be ordering a roto holster for every one of my carries in the near future.

Product: Pancake Style OWB Leather Holster for Pistol with Laser/Light Premium

The quality of the materials is very high however the product itself is almost unusable. My pistol fits so snugly into the holster that I cannot easily or quickly draw the pistol from the holster. It feels like every dimension measurement should have been increased by a few millimeters to keep a snug/secure fit but still allow for easy/quick access. It has gotten easier to draw from the holster over time and I'm hopeful that it continues to become easier and easier but in it's current state I would not want to have this holster in an emergency situation.

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed the leather needs a bit of break in. In the future you can try our O202 leather impregnation and break-in set.

The holster arrived sooner than expected and seems very well built. The metal clip, instead of a plastic one, puts it in a higher quality category. However, the fit is very snug. It's difficult to get the gun in and out of the holster. This will be very problematic in a self-defense situation. Hopefully the holster will stretch out a bit.

First of all, I'll be using this product as first-line equipment in the role of a "sleep holster". I intended it for this use, and it's adequate, representing the best solution I've found on an inadequate market for an on-body sleep-holster. It can be improved. The cross-body sling pouch (right-handed) doesn't allow fully smooth motion when operated. It seems to be a waist pouch design with a cross-body strap modification, and this is somewhat wanting. While the top-and-right opening with a left-pull zipper is appropriate for a waist pouch for a right-handed shooter, as a cross-body bag this requires the user to less-than-smoothly reach across the top of the open pouch and withdraw the weapon vertically. (The zipper becomes a down-and-left opening, on the left side, with a down-pull zipper. A 1/2" area of the pouch on the top right that is not opened by the zipper becomes a potential snag.) Personally, I think the pouch should be a redesgned as mirror-image of itself, with the strap left in its current orientation. Simply buying the left-handed version will result in placement of the quick-release buckle in an awkward place on the shoulder, and leave the PALS webbing on the top of the holster. I think this is even less desirable. The purchaser may want to add a webbing zipper-pull-tab or paracord-knot to the zipper-pull. This would allow the shooter to more reliably access the zipper-pull and more quickly draw the weapon. If the manufacturer integrates this solution sometime, a stiffener ought to be added along the zipper's path to keep the direction of pulling-force from departing that path and stalling the zipper's function. Really, this is about a 3.6 or 3.7 for me, but it rounds up to a 4, so okay.
