Holster does the best even without a steel belt clip and adds a thumb break to secure the gun in the holster. The clip is replaced with two belt straps which are fed around the belt and hold with press studs. Two straps are giving the holster the same stability on the belt as a regular steel clip. The design of thumb break is adding second layer of leather to the top, so even reholstering is easy as it holds open with no gun inside.
