LVL II DUTY KYDEX HOLSTER FOR GUN WITH LIGHT

Ordered and received a holster for a P 226 with X300 attached. Holster received was advertised as being suitable for CCW. Poster projects too far out from the hip and is impossible to conceal; firearm does not fit properly; holster begin to remove finish from X300; Retention backstrap was too short to pass over hammer and it was therefore useless. Company would only offer a refund as a gift card. Avoid this company at all costs.

Very good holster! Holds the gun in place securely. Please note if you are noticing a delay in the time the hood goes down when you press the release mechanism, this might be because of a tightness in the retention. To remedy, just take the belt attachment off and slightly loosen the 3 screws on the hood's release mechanism and try it out. It should work flawlessly! I definitely recommend. I am not law enforcement, but I chose to get this duty holster for when I open carry because I don't want someone else to grab a hold of the gun.

The good: Holster is very well made as are all Falco products. Weapon fits like a glove. I removed the belt attachment and replaced with a G-CODE RTI hanger, then connected a paddle. Worked perfectly and is totally portable now.

The bad: I ordered mine with an optics cut which renders the retention loop release button inoperable. Requires a difficult multi finger operation to disengage. I leave the loop strap off because it's too dangerous with the inoperable release button.

Verdict: I would order again. It's a solid and versatile OWB holster.

I love that your brand has so many varieties, I was disappointed however... because the holster was so loose, the firearm rattled. I had to make some modifications to add friction to the gun. Simple lower screw, closer to the light... but at 150 bucks... that's not something I should have to do. The other holster I got from you guys... AMAZING, that one is an easy *****... this one was just a little lack luster for the $

It works well for what it is. Within the first week of ownership the screws that were on it came so loose that the level 2 retention strap and thumb piece stopped working and became a hinderance. The holster presses into my mag release when I'm sitting in a patrol vehicle and overall, not worth the $200 USD

The push retention level 2 is not what I was expecting. I was expecting an actual button to be pressed down but that is no the case. It's very hard to press it to move the release. That holster itself is okay.

The holster has a good construction, however the attention to detail was subpar at best. The 3 holes to attach the QLS system were off by several centimeters, and the two top holes were so close together with the spring mechanism that I had to force it in place. Also the hun doesn’t line up inside the holster instead of the two half’s of the Kydex being somewhat the same they are not which makes the holstering of the gun relatively difficult. This is by no means a cheap holster and I am appalled by the quality control. The holster performs however the attention to detail is almost non existent. I would never sell a holster with this level of defects.

I first was ecstatic when I found that Falco holsters made lvl II retention holsters for jerichos with lights mounted on them. I think they're the only company to do it. That joy was fleeting however. I wore it around the house testing it before a pistol shooting class. I noticed that many of the screws on the holster everywhere walking off. I simply tightened them down and worse comes to happen at the class I specifically bought this holster for, it again began loosening up and some of them actually fell off during some shooting drills and me and the class spent the next 10 mins looking for the missing hardware that popped off. At home I retightened everything except this time the locking mechanism has now failed. It now stays stuck in the rearward position and will remain locked even when push forward by force. You have to put pressure perpendicular to the motion of the button to make it work. Even that doesn't work all of the time. For 129$ and waiting six weeks for a custom product you will be extremely disappointed

My major concerns are when I use the thumb release, it sticks and does not immediately release the hood (It took three seconds for the hood to respond). The leveler then that actually stays in the open position and does not return back to its original position instantly (It took 15 seconds for the lever to self-return). Lastly the gun fits in the custom holster, however, the molding around the rear of the holster, by the rear sights, appears to kant the gun forward slightly. This could be incorrect, but it does not appear that my gun sits level in the holster... I am waiting for the company to email me back on how to fix this the lever and the hood... As of right now, I paid almost $200.00 for an inoperable holster and loosening the screws around the thumb release does not affect the responsiveness of the retention.
