Not great. 1. Holster is too small for the pistol I ordered for and Falco recommended. Barely fits. 2. Safety strap that holds the pistol in the hostler, is attached to the holster only by velcro. Could be unsafe.
14 days from order to delivery. Impressive. The fit was snug, which is exactly what I wanted. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
Holster is well-made from quality leather. Holster fits my pistol perfectly. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star rating is the the leather extension coming off the top of the holster is not quite long enough to cover the length/height of the trigger nor wide enough to cover the beavertail extension and rear sight. Consequently these two pieces of metal can still dig into the small of one's back when carrying it concealed. Simply a design flaw; certainly not a reference to the quality of the of the make of the holster.
It's a extremely tight fit. So much so that it can not be inserted into the holster without pushing it in on the back o the receiver. If you use the grip it just retracts the slide. If this holster was made for the Walther PP99 the shape of the trigger gaurd is quite different. The PP99 is sloped and rounded back to the grip. The PPQ is squared in the front and a 90 degree angle back to the grip. The bottom of the trigger guard doesn't fit into the holster without inserting the gun at an agle so the trigger guard can be forced into the holster. The weapon cannot be withdrawn from the holster without pulling the entire holster out. They do not separate.
Right now I'm not going to rate anything because I think you may have sent me the wrong holster for my Walther PPQ. Please see below.
Hi Martina, My first Falco holster was a SOB unit for a S&W .357 Magnum Plus without retaining strap. It arrived beautifully crafted, and fit the weapon perfectly without any break-in required. This prompted me to order two more holsters for different weapons and carrying positions that included retaining straps, and none of which fit well. Most notably, the straps failed to close properly due to positioning of the snaps. I last received a Glock 19 Gen 5 holster set on order #45232. Packaging, Workmanship and Materials all great!! However, just like other Falco holsters, the retaining strap will not close properly over the weapon. It is not a question of stretching the strap, but rather it is the low mounting of the female snap receptor on the back of the holster. It is too low by a good ¾ inch on this holster and prevents strap closure when the weapon is in the holster. No amount of break-in will change that and I don’t understand why your Craftsmen continue to place the female closure in the wrong location on all otherwise fine holsters. Perhaps they only work from manufacturer specifications, and do not have a mockup weapon to ensure proper fit. I don’t know, just guessing. I really do wish for Falco Holsters to succeed and prosper! Nice chest holster, a little long, I'm assuming it's more of a universal fit for longer barrels, otherwise it's exactly what I was looking for, at an affordable price.

Wore this while out walking the dog this morning and wanted to add a few comments. Excellent feel. No bouncing around. I do wish the retention straps were removable. The one on the document pouch sticks out and pushes at my shirt. I also think the magazine pouches should be closed at the bottom. I fear I might lose a round since it’s not a closed pouch.
Excellent quality holster . Have bought 3 holsters from falco and all have been very well made and fit my weapons like a glove .
Love the material and feel of this band!! The materials really are top notch. I love the combination of soft and stiff materials. It makes for a sturdy carry. I haven’t been able to find something small enough to fit. So many of these advertise that it fits “up to a 56” waist”. Not one is marketed for smaller people. Even those claiming to be female specific don’t make smaller sizes.. I have one that’s “made for women” and it’s the smallest they sell and it’s way too big. I reviewed the size chart and used a tailor’s tape to measure myself. I got the XS and it’s still too big but I feel confident that if I had ordered the XXS it would fit fine. Pulling the tape uncomfortably tight, I got 26 which is why I chose the XS. Just know if you want a snug fit and you are close to the minimum range, choose the size down. I am still really happy with this band and would recommend it to others.
