My new pancake holster is great but very tight. I guess I need another break in kit. Still can't get the gun out. Must use both hands
Hi Mike, Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear you’re happy with the holster overall, but that tight fit can definitely be frustrating. A second break-in kit might help, but you could also try a few simple techniques: Wrap your unloaded firearm in a plastic bag or wax paper and insert it into the holster overnight to gently stretch the leather. Draw and reholster repeatedly to work the leather—like breaking in a new pair of boots. Use denatured alcohol sparingly to soften the interior. Just be sure not to overdo it—tightness is key to retention, but it should never require two hands. If it still feels unsafe or impractical after break-in, it might be worth reaching out to the maker for adjustments or guidance.
Very nice! There are some small issues with the Laser/light combo fitting, as my device is not on their list, but I'll try the Denatured Alcohol "Break-in" method...

The leather was thick not flimsy looks well made sturdy this will be a holster that will probably outlast me

I am very happy with the OWB hoster for my Sig M18 with optics. Following the breakin resulted in a Perfect fit. The holster is very comfotable to wear all day long.. I highly recommend this holster.

I have tried several generic IWB holsters that claimed to fit my everyday carry PPK/S and each failed in their own way. This holster from Falco was different from the beginning as it was obviously made for the PPK/S. Perfect form and function, I will no longer consider any other holster for my personal defense but Falco.

The fresh leather is a little stiff, give it a day or two of good flexing like a new baseball glove.

Seems like a common flaw-ZERO RETENTION. I have made several purchases and don't mind the long wait time-however, I do mind when my holster shows up and can't and won't use it because it is unsafe. I don't know what process you use to fit holsters, but maybe someone should be in charge of RETENTION. I would expect a full refund back to my payment method. Regards

I thought I would try a nylon holster for the first time and I knew Faclo, with their great reputation for quality and craftsmanship, would be the one to get. I've heard bad things about using nylon because of the possibility of folding in or becoming so soft it could accidentally cause the trigger to get pulled. I don't see it happening with this holster. It's really a perfect fit for my CZ Shadow 2 Carry pistol. Slides in and out so smoothly and the retention is good enough for me. As others have said that spring belt clip is really tight but I have found my way to get it around the belt. It definitely will stay on if you have to unholster your weapon. Falco, I would love to buy one of your Kydex or hybrid holsters, especially the Kydex cross draw for my CZ Shadow 2 Carry but after contacting your customer service they have informed me that only the nylon and leather holsters are an option. Please give us CZ owners so e more options. I'm sure you would sell a lot of you can include this model for more of your holster options! Thanks again!

Very well made shoulder holster in both the vertical and roto version holsters . Fair priced and reasonable shipping time . Both of my holsters were ordered for light and optic ready and fit well with the commander sized 1911 but when ordering BE SURE TO SPECIFY EXACTLY WHERE YOUR LIGHT IS LOCATED IN RELATION TO THE MUZZLE . I have a TLR 7 HL X SUB which is a smaller sized light and have it mounted flush with the end of the muzzle due to my very large hands . When the holsters arrived they were both made to accommodate the gun but with the light mounted flush with the trigger guard . Regardless , I’ll be ordering in the future for a government sized 1911 with light and optic cut for the shoulder harness and possibly an IWB for the same gun provided I can find what I require in the IWB . I would recommend , just be sure to specify the exact location where your light is mounted .

FORGOT COMMENTS: Fantastic holster I just received yesterday for Sig P365 xmacro. Tight at first but after breaking it in using the video, it fits absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this and plan to buy another for another gun I have. Love it!!
