HANDMADE CUSTOM-FIT HOLSTERS FOR ALMOST ANY GUN
Best Sig P365 Holsters in 2026 for IWB, Appendix and OWB Carry
The best holster for a Sig P365 is one made for your exact version of the gun, with room for your light and red dot if you carry them. Sig makes the P365 in many versions, and they differ in length, grip size and the rail a light mounts to. A holster made for one version won't always fit another. Get the fit right first, then choose where you'll carry the gun and what the holster is made of.
FALCO Holsters, a company crafting custom-fit handmade holsters for almost any handgun and light, has made holsters since 1989. We make holsters for dozens of P365 versions, from the original P365 to the X-Macro and Fuse. For most P365 owners, we'd start with our A911 TalonGuard, a hybrid holster worn inside the waistband.

Will a P365 holster fit a P365 XL or X-Macro?
A holster made for the standard P365 isn't made to fit a P365 XL or X-Macro. Both guns are almost an inch longer than the P365. The X-Macro also has a taller grip and a different rail. Even versions that share a length can differ in grip, rail and width, so we make each custom-fit holster for the version you choose.
| Version | Overall length | Rail | What's different for the holster |
|---|---|---|---|
| P365, P365-380 | 5.8 in | SIG rail | The original size. |
| P365X | 5.8 in | SIG rail | P365 length with a 12-round grip. |
| P365 XL, XL Spectre Comp | 6.6 in | SIG rail | A longer slide and a 12-round grip. 4.8 in tall without an optic. |
| P365 X-Macro, X-Macro Comp | 6.6 in | 1913 rail | XL length with a 17-round grip. About 5.2 in tall without an optic. |
| P365 AXG Legion | 6.6 in | 1913 rail | An alloy frame 1.4 in wide, where most versions are about 1.1 in. |
| P365 Fuse | 7.2 in | 1913 rail | The longest version, with a 21-round grip. |
The figures come from Sig Sauer's spec pages for the P365X, P365-380, P365-XL, P365 XMACRO, P365-AXG Legion and P365-FUSE.
Grip length changes how well the gun hides, even when the slide is the same length. The XL and X-Macro are both 6.6 inches long. The X-Macro's grip is longer to hold 17 rounds, so more of the gun stands above your belt and it's harder to hide. In his X-Macro review for Outdoor Life, Scott Einsmann wrote: "It won't be an issue if you're used to carrying a Glock 19-sized gun, but don't expect P365-type concealability." The XL keeps the shorter grip.

Our gun selector, Shop by handgun on our homepage, lists each version as its own gun, including the P365 X, the XL Spectre Comp, the X-Macro Tacops and the thumb safety models. Choose your exact version when you order. Our P365, P365 XL and P365 X-Macro pages show every holster we make for the three main versions. If you're still deciding which P365 to buy, our Before You Buy guide to the P365 covers the gun itself.
Which P365 holster should you buy?
For most P365 owners, the holster to start with is our A911 TalonGuard. It's an IWB holster you can wear on the hip or at appendix. A leather shell sits against your body, and a Kydex insert fully encloses the trigger guard. If your gun carries a light, order the A911 L, which is the same holster made for the gun and light together. The A911 L and A911 are the two most popular appendix holsters for the P365 on our site. Both take an optional claw, a small piece that presses against the inside of your belt and tips the grip in toward your body.
| Carry position | Holster | Material | For a gun with a light | Claw |

| IWB | A911 TalonGuard Hybrid IWB | Leather and Kydex | Yes, as the A911 L | Optional |

| OWB | C631 L King | Leather | Yes | No |
What makes a good Sig P365 IWB holster?
A good P365 IWB holster covers the whole trigger guard and stays open when the gun is out. An open mouth lets you reholster with one hand, without the holster folding shut. Kydex stays open on its own. Leather needs a reinforced mouth to stay open. Our A112 Hawk, A122 and A634 Langdon all have one. Look for a sweat guard too. It's the raised back panel between the gun and your body, and it keeps the gun off your skin. Our A122 has a reinforced sweat guard.
The AM02 is a leather holster you can wear inside or outside the waistband. It comes in two fits, and both cost the same. Custom fit is molded around your P365 alone, so choose it if that's the gun you carry. Multifit is cut to fit a range of similar guns. It suits you if you carry more than one similar gun and want one holster for all of them.
The A112 Hawk is an open-top leather IWB holster that comes in three leather grades. Premium and Classic are Italian cowhide, and Comfort is suede. The grades differ in leather, finish and price. All three are built for daily IWB carry.
Is appendix carry good for a P365?
Appendix carry suits the P365 well, because a gun this small is easy to hide in front of the hip. Appendix carry also works for the taller X-Macro. Evan Brune, executive editor at American Rifleman, wrote in his appendix-carry primer that appendix carriers "find themselves having to compromise less on frame shape and grip length."
An appendix holster for a P365 needs three things:
- Full trigger guard coverage. The holster should cover the trigger guard on both sides. The Kydex insert in our TalonGuard models fully encloses it.
- A claw. At appendix, the grip tends to tip away from your body and print. The claw pushes it back in. Our post on what a holster claw does goes into more detail.
- A stiff belt. The claw pushes against your belt, so it only works if the belt is stiff enough not to bend. Wear a sturdy gun belt.
Our A911 L and A911 both work at appendix with the claw added. The A634 Langdon is a leather IWB holster with a straight cant, meaning the gun rides upright instead of tilted. It's made for carry anywhere from appendix to 2 o'clock. The A912 L is a Kydex holster with a perforated leather backer, so leather is what sits against your body. Its claw is built in.
If you're new to appendix carry, practice drawing and reholstering slowly with an unloaded gun. Our comparison of appendix and strongside carry explains how the two positions differ.
When does a P365 OWB holster make sense?
An OWB holster makes sense for a P365 when comfort matters more than hiding the gun completely. Worn outside the belt, the holster doesn't press into your waist, but the gun is harder to cover. A P365 is small, so it can still sit under a jacket or an untucked shirt. You'll find every one we make for this gun on our P365 OWB holsters page.
Our most popular P365 OWB holster is the C113 Bat, a leather pancake holster made for a pistol with a light or laser. The C106 Shikra is a leather pancake with a thumb break
The C633 L Paterson and C631 L King are canted, so the grip tilts forward and is easier to reach at your side. The Paterson is open-top. The King adds a thumb break.
How do you choose a P365 holster for a weapon light?
Choose a holster made for both your gun and your light, because a light-bearing holster is molded around the two together. We make light-bearing holsters for more than 180 weapon lights. Our P365 light-bearing holsters page shows every one we make for this gun. Start by checking which rail your gun has, because the rail decides which lights fit. The P365, P365X, P365-380 and P365 XL have Sig's own small accessory rail, the SIG rail. The X-Macro, AXG Legion and Fuse have a standard 1913 rail. Our configurator, the list of options on each product page, includes these lights for each rail:
- SIG rail: Streamlight TLR-7 Sub and TLR-8 Sub in their SIG versions, Streamlight TLR-6, SureFire XSC, and Sig Foxtrot365 and Foxtrot365XR.
- 1913 rail: Streamlight TLR-7 Sub, TLR-7X Sub and TLR-8 Sub in their 1913 versions, and Sig Foxtrot1, Foxtrot1X and Foxtrot2.
The TLR-7 Sub comes in a SIG-rail version and a 1913 version, and the configurator shows them as separate lights. Check which one is on your gun before you order. If you're still choosing a light, our guide to the best P365 lights compares the ones that fit the SIG rail.

A light-bearing holster is molded around the gun with the light attached. If you take the light off, there's empty space where the light used to sit, and the holster won't hold the gun as firmly. If you carry the gun both with and without the light, plan on two holsters.
Check that a light-bearing holster covers the whole trigger guard. When a light is wider than the gun, some holsters leave a gap at the front of the trigger guard. A gap there leaves room for a finger or an object to reach the trigger while the gun is in the holster. Owners notice it most with a wide light, such as the TLR-7 Sub, on a narrow gun. The Kydex insert in our A911 L fully encloses both the trigger guard and the light.
Will a P365 holster fit your red dot?
A P365 holster fits a red dot only when it's made for one. Most of our picks have a red dot option in the configurator: the A911, A911 L, A112 Hawk, A122, A912 L, C113 Bat and C106 Shikra. On those, choose Red Dot Sight Pistol under Sights Type, and we make the holster with room for the optic and for taller sights. The red dot option adds a small charge to the price. Keep in mind that a canted holster can't be configured for a P365 with a red dot, because the optic would catch behind your belt as you draw.
The other four picks are already designed with room for an optic out of the box, so there's no option to choose:
- AM02: has a cut-out for a red dot.
- A634 Langdon: made to fit a pistol with an optic.
- C631 L King: made to fit a gun with a red dot.
- C633 L Paterson: made to fit a gun with an optic and a front sight up to 1/3 inch tall. If your front sight is taller, email us before you order.
● For help choosing the optic itself, see our top 10 red dot sights for the P365.
Leather, Kydex or hybrid for a P365?
Leather, Kydex and hybrid all work well on a P365. For all-day carry inside the waistband, we'd choose leather or a hybrid, because leather is what sits against your body. Kydex suits you if you want a holster that holds the gun with an audible click and needs almost no care.
| Material | What it's like | Our P365 picks |
|---|---|---|
| Leather | Thick Italian leather, molded around your gun and comfortable against your body. | A112 Hawk, A634 Langdon, A122, C113 Bat |
| Kydex | Rigid, holds the gun with an audible click, isn't affected by moisture, and needs almost no care. | A912 L, which adds a leather backer |
| Hybrid | A leather back against your body, with a Kydex insert that covers the trigger guard from both sides. | A911, A911 L |
For a closer look at how they compare, see our post on holster materials.
How to order a holster for your P365
The quickest way to find holsters that fit your P365 is our gun selector:
- Go to Shop by handgun at the top of our homepage.
- Choose Sig Sauer, then your P365 version.
- Tick Optics ready or Light-bearing if your gun has a red dot or a light, then search. You'll see only the holsters made for that setup.
- Open a holster and choose your light in the configurator, plus your red dot if the holster offers that option. The price updates as you go.
We make custom-fit holsters to order. Each one is molded around a replica of your gun and tested against it before it ships. A custom-fit holster usually reaches you about two weeks after you order.
If you're not sure which version of your gun or light to pick, email us at [email protected] or ask in the chat on falcoholsters.com. We'd rather help you get it right before we make your holster than have you guess.
