The holster itself is very high quality. The leather has to be worked in to allow the pistol to be holstered without pushing the slide, but this is expected of a new holster. The leather itself is very high quality and looks great. The cant angle is perfect and the holster is very comfortable. It is worth the price of a premium leather holster. It is, however, NOT worth the price of a premium leather holster with level 2 retention.

The reason I've deducted two stars is due to the retention button on the inside of the holster. It cannot be relied on to retain the pistol under normal use. You have to be very careful not to get clothing wedged between your body and the button or it is easily depressed and the pistol will pull right out. Even if you are careful and get all your clothing bits out it can still get worked back in there by normal body movements such as sitting down and standing up. I really do not like touching or handling my firearm and holster in public.

Being able to state, "This is a level 2 holster" is great. It dispels some discomfort some people have with open carry by giving the appearance of a well retained firearm that won't be easily pulled and used against you or others. The fact that the level 2 retention doesn't work reliably makes me worry that if that situation ever occurs, the holster will not protect me.

I could not find a holster anywhere that would work for my gun with a light and optic combo. The holster was made to the exact specifications I needed and is by far the best holster I have purchased to date. I use this holster for court and it is extremely well made and comfortable. I also added a new belt, which turned out to be the incorrect size. Although this was a mistake on my part, Falco's customer service was quick and helpful with their response and sent me a new belt! I would highly recommend this holster to anyone looking for quality leather that truly is one of a kind.

This holster is exactly what I asked for and the shipping timely. I have a gun belt and manual safety so I don't miss the 'click' engagement of kydex; there's a snug clip engaging with the belt. The end result is a very comfortable IWB carry and positive draw, but as the nylon expands, much like a leather holster, I'll need to replace it. I'll get the replacement here.

Quality of the shoulder holster is great and I recieved it in a timely manner. The only thing wrong is I can't find denatured alcohol in California to break the holster into my gun. (very tight fit) I'm going to see if I can order it on line but don't know if they will ship to California or not. Any suggestions?

received my holster in about 35 days from start to finish, I;m very pleased with the product and quality of workmanship,the timing and the fact that falco kept me informed of what was going on, would rather have the back straps sewn together instead of what looks like rivets or bolts, but the holster is comfy the way it is. may be ordering another one for my micro 9 as soon as I get the money.
